my kiddos!

I HAD to post some photos of my kids from today. Briar had her pre-school program, (super cute -- she had her own line!) so I thought since we were half way dressed up we'd try and get some in front of the tree -- it actually worked this year!

I have to preface this post with a little side note...This is Katie (and Nikolai) Katie was a HUGE part of Nik's (and our family's) life for 3 years -- 2-3 days a week. She was his speech therapist, and did so much to help him speak (I know, hard to believe that he didn't talk for the 1st half of his life!) We just think the world of Katie and the amount of work, love, care she gave to Nikolai for so long. This picture was a year ago when he "graduated" from speech. It was bitter sweet, because we were so proud of the strides he made, but now we don't see her as much.

and now she has this beautiful baby girl of her own! here is sweet little Addie... she is almost 6 months old and poor little thing wasn't feeling too well this day. We took family pictures first, so she was pretty much done when it came to snapping a few of JUST her! Considering all that, she did very well and we managed to get a few good ones.

another new born...

'tis the season, for babies. I have seen lots of new babies in the last few weeks -- and I love it! Although, I have to say, it gives me the "itch."

here is baby Carter, he wasn't itty bitty, but still a new born at 4 weeks (that is why he is so alert in so many shots)

Our good friends the Grants had a baby girl, Sydney Drew, a couple weeks ago and I was able to take some pictures when she was not even a week old.

I get to see this cutie about every 6 months.... and I started taking her pictures when she was about 1 week old! It's my favorite part of my job seeing these little one's grow and change so much.
